~Letter D~ Kindergarten

Here you see my Kindergarten friends working on Dd! Before we begin our table work that you see below, we begin our group by meeting on the carpet for review of previous learned letter names and sounds with the use of our Orton-Gillingham deck. If you are working with a student or your own child any letter flash card deck will work. It does not need to be an Orton deck. For each letter card that I show, my students say the letter first then the sound…for example, “D says /d/”.
